Agentic AI courses from MIT, Harvard, Berkeley, Kellogg, Cambridge, UT Austin, Johns Hopkins, DeepLearning.AI and Hugging Face, with fees, length, next start date, who each is for and whether you need to code.
This directory lists courses that put agentic AI in the title or teach it as a core strand, split into two tracks: leadership courses that need no coding, and builder courses that assume Python. Each entry records the provider, delivery partner, format, length, weekly effort, published fee, next start and the modules as the provider published them when we checked on 27 October 2026. Nobody paid to be listed.
MIT Professional Education launched Applied Agentic AI for Organizational Transformation as an eight-week online course at 8–10 h/week, taught by Prof. John R. Williams and Dr. Abel Sanchez and run with Global Alumni. It lists at US$3,250, needs no programming, and ends with a choice of capstone: an AI integration plan for one business function or an executive presentation on an agent initiative. The current cohort runs 20 October to 15 December 2026; MIT also sells it in a 16-week bundle with Applied AI for Digital Transformation at up to 15% off.
Below is what each module covers and where we go deeper on the same topic, so you can preview the material or fill gaps after the course.
Our read. If your organisation has not yet put an agent into production, the course covers the full arc a sponsor needs, and the module 6 and 7 material on KPIs, sandboxing and a written governance plan is where most pilots stall. If your team already runs agents with API integrations, prompt-injection guards and human approval gates, expect most of modules 1 to 5 to be review. The value then is the governance framing, a shared vocabulary for your leadership team, and the certificate with 7 CEUs.
How much do agentic AI courses cost?
Published list prices for the 11 paid courses, in approximate US dollars (1 GBP ≈ 1.33 USD, 1 CAD ≈ 0.73 USD). Hugging Face is free and DeepLearning.AI is free to audit.

Agentic AI certifications: courses vs proctored exams
Every course above ends in a certificate of completion. A certification is different: a proctored exam with no teaching attached, which hiring managers weight more. The agentic credentials worth knowing in 2026 are the NVIDIA-Certified Professional: Agentic AI (NCP-AAI), US$200 for 60 to 70 questions in 120 minutes and aimed at practitioners with production agent experience; Salesforce Agentforce Specialist at US$200; Microsoft's Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect; and Anthropic's Claude Certified Architect. Our AI certifications guide compares them all.
How should you choose?
Decide whether you will sponsor agents or build them. Sponsors need the governance, KPI and operating-model material in the leadership track. Builders need the design patterns, frameworks and evaluation skills in the builder track. A CTO usually needs both, in that order: a free builder course first, then a leadership course for the vocabulary the board will use.
Check how much of the syllabus is actually agentic. MIT, Harvard, Berkeley and Cambridge are agentic end to end. Rotman, Imperial and Kellogg are broader generative AI programs with agentic sessions added; that is fine if you need the wider strategy view, less so if agents are the point.
Price the hands-on time. Cambridge's three days include building and then breaking your own agent. UT Austin's 13-week no-code program builds agents for your own workflows. Most others are video plus live sessions.
Know who runs it. Emeritus, Great Learning and Global Alumni handle admissions and the platform for most university-branded courses here while faculty teach. That is normal in executive education; ask how many live faculty hours you get.
How were these courses checked?
We read every provider's own course page on 27 October 2026 and link it on each entry. Fees are the list price the provider published, before taxes, discounts or financing; several Emeritus-run pages only show the fee in the page's course data, which is where we read it. Approximate US dollar figures use 1 GBP ≈ 1.33 USD and 1 CAD ≈ 0.73 USD and are only for comparison. Module titles are copied from the provider's syllabus, which most providers label indicative. Confirm dates and fees with the provider before you enrol.

It depends on whether you will lead agent programs or build them. For leaders, MIT Professional Education's Applied Agentic AI for Organizational Transformation (US$3,250, 8 weeks) has the most complete syllabus, from platforms and integration through security, pilot-to-production and governance. Harvard's Agentic AI Foundations (US$595, 4 weeks) is the cheapest credible short option, and Cambridge Judge's three-day Agentic AI: Design, Build, Govern is the most hands-on for executives. For builders, start with Andrew Ng's free-to-audit Agentic AI course on DeepLearning.AI and the free Hugging Face Agents Course before paying for a long certificate.
Is the MIT agentic AI course worth it?
For a business leader who has not yet run agents in production, yes: the eight modules cover the full arc from model choice and platforms to integration, security (NIST CSF, prompt injection, deepfakes), KPIs, governance and agent testing, and it ends with an integration plan or executive presentation you can reuse. At US$3,250 it is in line with Berkeley (US$3,600) and Kellogg (US$3,300). If your team already ships agents with API integrations, guardrails and approval gates, most modules will be review; the value then is the governance framing in module 7 and the MIT certificate with 7 CEUs.
How much does the MIT Applied Agentic AI course cost?
MIT Professional Education lists Applied Agentic AI for Organizational Transformation at US$3,250 for the 20 October to 15 December 2026 cohort. It runs 8 weeks online at 8 to 10 hours a week, is delivered with Global Alumni, needs no programming background and awards an MIT Professional Education Certificate of Completion plus 7 CEUs. MIT also sells it in a 16-week bundle with Applied AI for Digital Transformation at up to 15% off.
Can I learn agentic AI without coding?
Yes. Nine of the 13 courses here are no-code leadership programs: MIT Professional Education, Harvard Online, UC Berkeley, Kellogg, Rotman, Imperial, Cambridge Judge (no-code labs) and both UT Austin McCombs programs. They teach how agents work, where they pay off, and how to govern and measure them. You will not build production agents, but you will be able to scope, fund and govern them.
Is there a free agentic AI course with a certificate?
The Hugging Face Agents Course is free including its certificate; it takes about five weeks at 3 to 4 hours a week and needs basic Python. DeepLearning.AI's Agentic AI course by Andrew Ng is free to audit, but the certificate and graded labs need a Pro membership (US$25 a month billed annually).
What is the difference between an agentic AI course and an agentic AI certification?
A course teaches you and usually ends in a certificate of completion. A certification is a proctored exam that tests you, with no teaching attached. Agentic certifications in 2026 include the NVIDIA-Certified Professional: Agentic AI (NCP-AAI, US$200, 60 to 70 questions in 120 minutes), Salesforce Agentforce Specialist (US$200) and Microsoft's Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect. Hiring managers weight proctored certifications more than completion certificates.
