A new lab series typically takes four to eight weeks to research, test, and write up. New labs and methodology updates publish on a roughly weekly cadence. Subscribers to the CTAIO newsletter get a heads-up when each one drops.
Each lab follows the same scoring rubric, documented in our SaaS testing framework. Tools are evaluated against a fixed test scenario, scored on accuracy, false-positive rate, latency, ergonomics, and price. Vendor relationships are disclosed at the top of each lab. We do not accept payment for placement and we do not accept review-unit hardware unless it is returned at the end of the test.

No. CTAIO Labs is funded by newsletter subscriptions and consulting income. Vendors do not pay for inclusion, and they do not get advance review of write-ups. When a vendor does grant access (a product trial, a beta) that is disclosed at the top of the lab.
Because that is the point of an independent lab. Vendor pages describe what the product can do at its best. The labs describe what it does on average, on a real codebase, with realistic constraints. The gap between the two is what readers come for.
