What we collect

When you subscribe to the CTAIO newsletter, we collect your email address. That's it. We don't ask for your name, company, job title, or phone number unless you explicitly provide it via a contact form.

If you post a job via the jobs board, we collect the information you submit in that form (company name, role details, contact email).

How we use it

Your email address is used to send you the CTAIO newsletter. We don't sell it, trade it, or use it for advertising. We don't build profiles on you. We don't share it with third parties except for the email delivery provider (Substack) that sends the newsletter on our behalf.

Email delivery

CTAIO uses Substack to manage newsletter subscriptions and delivery. When you subscribe, your email address is stored with Substack, which has its own privacy policy.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how pages are being used — which pages are visited, how long people stay, where they come from. GA4 uses cookies. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

You can opt out of GA4 tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. For any other data requests, email us at thomas@prommer.net.

Data retention

We keep subscriber data for as long as you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your email is removed from our active list. Residual copies may remain in backups for up to 90 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll note the updated date at the top of this page. We won't send a separate notification for minor edits.
