I have also seen significant issues with duplicate listings and ghost jobs that were filled months ago but remain indexed.
That said, I keep Indeed in my toolbox for one thing: competitive intelligence. The salary estimator and job posting volume give you a sense of market demand for specific roles and skill sets. If you are planning headcount or negotiating a compensation package, Indeed's data (combined with Glassdoor's) provides a useful baseline.
